Once a lien has been placed on your property through the tax sale, the balance must be satisfied in full, including the original sewer charges, accrued interest, penalties, and any additional costs associated with the tax sale. Payment is made directly through the Vineland Tax Collector’s Office.

After the lien is redeemed, the Tax Collector will update the property records to show the lien has been cleared. Please note that the longer the lien remains unpaid, the more interest and fees may accrue.

We recommend contacting the Vineland Tax Collector’s Office as soon as possible to obtain the exact payoff amount and instructions for redemption.

The outstanding balance must be paid in full before the scheduled tax sale date in order to prevent a lien from being placed on your property. Once the account is included in the tax sale, additional fees and legal costs may apply, and payment arrangements may no longer be available.

Since the tax sale scheduled date varies from year to year (typically during September of each respective year), payment must be received one week before deadline, e.g., close of business on the day before the sale to ensure your property is removed from the sale list.
